Originally from Tlaquepaque, Ángela Margarita is a first-generation artisan dedicated to silver jewelry. She began her training at age 30 through specialized jewelry courses.
Her pieces are inspired by nature, birds, and organic forms, celebrating aesthetic beauty while embracing the imperfections that arise during the creative process. A distinctive element of her work is the integration of Miyuki bead weaving, which adds color and movement.
She has participated in Corazón de Artesano, Caravana Artesanal, Maestros del Arte, and exhibitions in Monterrey and Ciudad Guzmán. With Fundación Causa Azul A.C., she has participated in the Encuentro Guardianas de la Cultura, the 'Nosotras' exhibition, Acciones Estratégicas II, and the Guardianas de la Cultura Pavilion.
For her, being a Guardian of Culture means building alliances and sharing her craft.
