In 2023, we held the second edition of the Guardians of Culture Meeting, “Together We Are Unstoppable.”

On August 9th we commemorate the International Day World's Indigenous Peoples, the goal of this day is to celebrate cultural diversity and give visibility to the efforts of original peoples.

Día de Muertos for the Wixárika people represents the transitory return home of souls to be with their loved ones and nourish themselves with the essence of what is offered in their honor. 

Volunteering with a Cause is an initiative of Fundación Causa Azul A.C. to unite volunteers and create actions that positively impact our community.  

Through this blog, we aim to be closer to our "Guardians of Culture", a community committed to safeguarding Mexican folk art in its various manifestations and cultural expressions.

Understanding the world of handicrafts goes beyond appreciating decorative, utilitarian, or ceremonial objects; it involves awakening a feeling when admiring these works of art crafted by artisans, carrying with us a part of their essence, soul, and history.
