From Tonalá, Antonio is a fifth-generation burnished clay artisan. He began learning at age 4 or 5, guided by his parents. His work is known for innovative designs and colors.
He has exhibited at Los Pinos, the Museum of Popular Cultures, Torre de Economía, Xcaret, Maestros del Arte, and internationally in Bogotá and Medellín. With Fundación Causa Azul A.C., he joined Acciones Estratégicas II and the Guardianas Pavilion.
For him, being a Guardian of Culture means carrying ancestral knowledge and continuing a family history.
