From Tlaquepaque, Sara Monserrat is part of the eighth generation of artisans. She learned papier-mâché and clay techniques from her father and through various courses.
Her pieces are unique characters with stories she creates herself. She has participated in local events and collaborated with Fundación Causa Azul A.C. in Acciones Estratégicas II and the Guardianas Pavilion.
For Sara, being a Guardian of Culture means celebrating living culture, remembering our origins, and connecting with our identity.
