In Mexico, a great variety of colorful textile designs are found, using wool or cotton as raw materials. There are different ancestral techniques to create incredible works of art, such as weaving on a pedal loom, waist loom, embroidery, deshilado, frivolité, and tachihual.
Each textile is unique, as it contains stories and symbols of our ancestors that are transmitted from one generation to another; additionally, this technique is used to make special garments that are part of traditional attire.
We can find beautiful pieces like sarapes, gabanes, rugs, huipiles, rebosos, fajillas, among others.
