From San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Juana is part of the third generation of artisans dedicated to polychromed clay. She began learning at age 11 from her parents.
Her work includes clay jewelry and home accessories. She has participated in local and national events and has worked with Fundación Causa Azul A.C. on the Expo Venta de Arte Popular Mexicano, 'Nosotras' exhibition, and Encuentro Guardianas.
