The pottery technique is one of the oldest and most comprehensive, involving the use of the four elements of nature: fire, air, earth, and water. It consists of creating utilitarian and decorative pieces through the manipulation of clay as a raw material. There is a wide variety of pottery techniques, depending on the process of elaboration, such as clay firing, decoration, and finishing: burnished clay, barro canelo, barro bandera, black clay, barro petatillo, barro betus, and high-temperature ceramics.

Each piece is inspired by ancestral traditions, as they feature symbols and cultural elements characteristic of their region; they also tell ancient stories or legends that are part of our great Mexican historical legacy.
