Barro Canelo

Barro canelo is a pre-Columbian technique that forms part of the Mexican cultural identity; its name comes from the similarity to the color of cinnamon. The decoration process is very distinctive in this technique, as colors or engobes with reddish and brown tones are used, which are obtained from the same earth with which the pieces are made.
